I started off doing brows in August 2020. My first course was a basic wax and tint course. After this, I then fell in love with doing brows and since then have done many more courses which has made me extremely passionate about the industry.
2) Why did you decide to train in SPMU?
I decided to get into brows in the first lockdown. I was due to move to Dubai for a job however lockdown was announced and I could no longer go. So during this time I tried to think of something else I could do. As I already waxed and tinted my own brows, I thought why not do brows! I booked a course as soon as the lockdown lifted.
After doing basic brow treatments I thought SPMU should be my next step as I’m such a perfectionist and really wanted to create amazing brows. I trained SPMU in April 2021 and it was the best thing I’ve ever done!
3) What is your favourite procedure to perform?
My favourite would have to be Combination Brows! You can get the best of both hair strokes and machine shading. I love that you can totally tailor the technique depending on client preference and it can be as soft, subtle, fluffy, bold or defined as they like.
4) Where do you see yourself in five years time?
In five years I hope to grow and be successful in the SPMU Industry. I think I will always specialise in brows but will learn new styles and techniques. I am also interested in becoming an educator.
5) What is your signature technique called?
My signature technique is The Fluffy Combination. I love a fluffy front blended into a full and defined tail.
6) Who did you train with?
7) What is your favourite Cosmedic Supplies machine and needle?
I use the Lite Pad and like the 1R 0.04 for outline and soft shading or use 3RL 0.25 for full shading.
